Can my wife feed the dog cat food? Is it the same?

Hi! I am the wife : ) I would never feed the dog cat food long term, she was just hungry and I didn't realize we were completely out of dog food so I gave the dog a little bit one time to buy some time til I could get to the store to get more dog food. I doubt the dog would become obese from one indulgent meal : ) Honey I love you. You're so cute!!

Ok thanks. Can u explain that to my wife or give me more research. She got really pissed cus i got upset for her feeding the dogs cat food. Thanks

No, do not feed your dog cat food. Feed your dog a high quality diet formulated for dogs. This will have the right balance of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. Cat food is often more calorie dense than dog food as well and will cause your dog to become overweight.

That said, as the namer of the puppy in question, I expect her to be given food of only the highest quality- be it cat, dog, or shark fin soup.
