My friend has a daucsund/terrier mix..she's 14 and her front paws recieved blisters in the AZ sun ..2 of them have popped and it's very painful for her to walk..any ideas on what she can use over the counter for the paws or do?

You can try applying Neosporin to the blisters.  This dog needs to wear protective booties.  You can buy booties at a pet store or hiking store to protect her feet.  Talk to your veterinarian about appropriate pain medication.  Do not use over the counter human products--not all are appropriate to use in dogs especially a 14 year old dog.  Also these blisters may become infected-if this occurs your veterinarian can prescribe antibiotics.
