Why does my dog excessively lick the air when you scratch near the top of her tail. She just started this about 6 months ago. I sometimes think it feels good to her but I wonder if she hurts in her hip area. She does this even if you pat her hips and just anywhere on her hine area. Should I be concered? She is a 5 year chocolate lab.
