We have a 6month lab who was sleeping well in a crate but recently barks for an hour when put in and then again at 4:30. In the morning and if we let him out to go to the bathroom he will bark the rest of the morning when put back in if left out he gets in too much trouble and we need some sleep! Any help?

Have you tried putting things like toys and bones/chews in his crate? You could only put them in at 4:30 when he barks maybe. If you don't already have one, they make water bottles for crates too.(for the chews)
