My dog Leo (16lbs Schnauzer 1.5 years) has been lethargic and seems depressed yesterday and today, He is still eating and drinking, but acts like it hurts to open his mouth. Other dog Oscar (18lbs Jack-Rat 1 year), same food, environment and all is fine. I think Oscar might have bit the inside of Leo's mouth while playing, Heard a loud yelp yesterday/seems scared of Oscar today, I couldn't see any visual injury. Any thoughts?

In my opinion dogs are just like humans. It sounds just like you said Leo is upset because Oscar may have been playing rough and Leo took it negatively.
Play with both of them and force the issue of companionship. Leo will be fine he sounds sensitive thats all.
Also check his mouth because he may have in fact hurt something that needs attention.

Well, that is exactly what we did today. He still seems lazy At home but on the walk was chipper and totally normal. by Blake Mumaw 1 year ago
