My bichon-poodle mix is ~10yrs old. She's eating, peeing and pooping fine. This am during our walk she almost completed a mile. She started walking very lightly around her back left paw. I checked it for a thorn, stone, etc...nothings there. She's playful & still walks on all four. She's not yelping/crying. She wasn't injured. It seems like her leg is sore. 1 friend told me to give her aspirin/advil. Another friend told me not to & to start her on glucosamine chondroitin. Help?

I would try and stay away from any human medications, sometimes they can cause tummy upsets and ulcears. If she is limping she may have a luxating patella (were the knee cap pops in and out of socket) or it's possible she just had a sprain both can be helped with a little cage rest and some kisses (well kisses aren't a requirement but they sure do help) :). Vet's can also recommend a product specifically for pain, but if you try cage rest first and it doesn't get any better or she starts not eating/drinking/peeing/pooping then I would move to the Vet option. I would DEFF start on a glucosamine supplement, that was a great recommendation! Hope this helps :)
