My maltese hurt himself this morning...he can't jump up into a standing position or jump on my legs (where his front paws are on me and he's standing on his hind legs). Getting into this position causes him to yelp. The Vet Tech did a brief physical exam and he shows no signs of pain. And when he's on all 4's he runs around and plays...what could be causing this issue?

Our king charles cavalier started to walk funny today as if it was difficult for her to lift her back left leg. Her head also dipped down to the left hand side.Why?
