MY neighbours pups mum died like 4 days ago it had 5 puppies but 3 were given away ,and two are left one of them is depressed .He won't eat or move he won't play with the other one he just cries .He looks like he is going to die but I just can't accept that I love animals and well that will just be too sad for me to control .Please help?

We adopted another cat last month (our 4th) and introduced her to our dog 2 weeks ago. He never seemed to notice or care about her, but this week he has been acting odd. When inside he paces, follows us and his ears are always straight up. He also will go straight to where he knows our new cat hides. He seems to want to stay out most of the time where he will just lay around. We wonder if he is sick or is finally annoyed by the new pet?
