I have a 1 year old chihuahua who hasn't been sprayed. A month or two ago she got her first period ever since then her nipples have been enlarged and red. She's been licking them continuously to they point that they are bleeding (only on the tips). She even bit off the top of her nipple. She's been a bit shakey lately but other than that her eating habits and bathroom habits are the same. Please tell me what it could be or if it's anything serious. Thank you?

Female dog was in heat two months ago and seems to be in heat again. She is licking herself constantly with aggression. She is red down there too. The male dog we have is not going after her like he did when she was in heat. I am concerned there is a problem?
