Do all labradors shed bad?

I have a 3 yo Lab that has thrown up and has pure liquid diarrhea. His ear flaps seem to be swollen as well. I did feed him this evening and he did eat. I noticed him eating grass a few days ago but he didn't act ill then. My other Lab is not ill?

My labrador cross had a small scab on his back which came off but with a considerable root to it. It has now,a week later, left a hole with a hard surrounding area. It doesnt seem to bother him but i am concerned as to what it is?
