My puppy woke up limping this morning. How do I check to see if its broken or if she got bit by something?

I have a 2 year old lab boxer mix. She is on her period for the third time and we have noticed that each time she gets her period, she seems to have pain in her rear right leg. She limps on it, or she refuses to put it on the ground instead choosing to hop on the other 3 legs. Could her period have anything to do with the pain?

I have a 2 year old Japanese Akita and he has very long legs. When I walk him, or he stands up, he limps. I think it is his front legs. Could it be growing pains? Can anyone help or suggest any ideas before I spend a fortune on xrays. Thanks :)

I have a 6 yo Basset Hound. He suddenly developed a limp in R hind leg.. No observable trauma. Not putting weight on it. Able to perform full ROM, but cannot extend/Flex his foot..appears flaccid. Doesn't wimper/yelp/cry when manipulated?
