My dog has very sensitive skin and has recently started scratching his bottom on everything that he can find. He has little black dots and spots all over and we have doctored them with Triple Antibiotic Ointment daily. He is losing quite a bit of fur as well. I am just curious as to if you may know what this could be?

My 10-year-old cat is at the vet with severe fatty liver disease, which she doesn't seem to be recovering from very well. They are force-feeding, giving fluids, and antibiotics. She also now has a skin condition where parts of her skin peel off, along with patches of fur. My very experienced vet has never seen this skin condition before. If she shows no improvement by Monday, I think the vet will recommend putting her down. Any other advice?

Recently, I've noticed my dog scratching himself frequently, particularly on the belly, thighs and shoulders, and have noticed him chewing and licking at his legs. I have noticed some little black specks on his fur. The itching and scratching is getting worse and worse and I'm afraid that he may get a skin infection or something more serious. Does my dog have fleas? What sort of treatment should I start with? What other things should I do to handle an infestation?

My West Highland White Terrior has developed white spots, smaller than a pea, on his skin. I've found one above his eye, one on his neck and one on his back. There could be more but I'm not sure. He's not bothered by them, and his behaviour is normal. Should we go to the vets?

I have a 3 y/o weimaraner with skin issues. We have been to the vet and have had medications for allergies infections and dry skin but the vet doesn't seem to have any answers. She is always itching her ear, face, abdomen, and licking her tail and paws until she bleeds. Her underarms are moist and her skin is always red with a lot of hair loss. She does not have fleas, ticks, mites, or mange (according to our vet). Any suggestions?
