Last night while playing fetch with my Australian Shepherd, he got jabbed on the top of his mouth and back of his throat with a stick. The injury bled for 5 minutes or so. However, he had no trouble breathing and he seemed back to his normal disposition after 5 minutes or so. However, he does seem to have pain when swallowing. This is causing him to not eat/drink normally. Is there anything I can do for him to make him more comfortable? Thank you for any help!
